Groupe Barrière's iconic restaurants reinvent themselves in Deauville

Groupe Barrière breathes new life into its iconic Deauville restaurants.

Ciro's and Le Bar de la Mer, true culinary institutions, have been completely redesigned to offer an experience combining tradition and modernity. New decor, a reinvented atmosphere and a menu that sublimates seafood products, everything has been thought out to seduce epicureans. And let's not forget the latest addition to the Casino Barrière Deauville, a Noto restaurant, the Moma group's famous Italian party concept.

These ambitious projects are fully in line with the Barrière group's new development strategy, which aims to revitalize the offer of the legendary Normandy seaside resort.

Ciro's: The Deauville institution revisited

Since its opening in 1959, Ciro's has been a meeting place for epicureans and film celebrities. Today, this legendary address is being reinvented under the direction of interior design duo Virginie Friedmann & Delphine Versace. Entrusted with the renovation of this legendary restaurant, they drew inspiration from the legendary history of the place, while proposing a modern, timeless vision.

In a setting inspired by the great ocean liners of yesteryear, varnished woodwork, bespoke frescoes, immaculate tablecloths and brass details immerse diners in a hushed, refined atmosphere.

In terms of cuisine, the restaurant offers a menu that sublimates seafood. Here, fish is king, whether raw or cooked, inspired by the day's fish market finds, or alongside the most exceptional seafood. The great classics are also revisited, from sole meunière to bouillabaisse, and bold creations like monkfish glazed with lemongrass and ginger.

Bar de la Mer: a family getaway

The two interior designers from the Friedmann et Versace interior architecture and design agency also designed the Bar de la Mer. The largest terrace on Les Planches reaffirms its status as a convivial place par excellence, prized by families and sea lovers alike. With its pop-colored decor and warm ambience, this iconic restaurant invites you to take a gourmet break with your feet in the sand.

Designed like an imaginary submarine, the interior is ready to welcome young and old alike for a fantastic culinary voyage: portholes revealing extraordinary sea creatures, plates illustrated with oceanic motifs and touches of blue evoking waves and sky.

With its fresh fish, generous dishes and gourmet desserts, the restaurant's cheerful, relaxed atmosphere, with a breathtaking view of the sea, appeals to young and old alike.

Noto: Famous Italian party concept

The latest addition to the Casino Barrière Deauville, the Noto restaurant marks the arrival of the Moma group's famous festive concept in Normandy. Already a fixture in Paris, Saint-Tropez and Marrakech, this Sicilian-charm address combines elegance and the art of partying in a spellbinding atmosphere. Under the direction of talented chef Emilio Giagnoni, the restaurant celebrates the flavors of Italy, with generous, convivial gastronomy perfect for sharing.
