Renewal of the public service delegation contract for the Casino Barrière Blotzheim for 18 years

The Blotzheim town council has decided to renew the casino's public service contract with Groupe Barrière for a further 18 years. This decision bears witness to the trusting partnership between the municipality and Groupe Barrière, confirming the major role played by this establishment in the ... local economy, employment and cultural life of the region.

With a total of 88.8 million euros in Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR) for the 2023-2024 financial year, the Casino Barrière de Blotzheim is a major economic player in the region. Through its diversified offering (gaming, catering and entertainment), the establishment actively contributes to the town's tourist appeal, local employment and economic dynamism.

A major project for the Casino's future

The renewal of the DSP is accompanied by an ambitious transformation project to enhance the Casino's appeal and its positive impact on the region :

  • Renovation and extension of sales outlets, restaurants and bars to offer an even richer experience.

  • Expansion of the gaming offering, with an increase in dedicated floor space and diversification of the range, including the integration of cutting-edge equipment to satisfy both enthusiasts and amateurs.

  • Expansion of the auditorium from 300 to 500 seats, allowing for more ambitious and varied programming.

  • Increased entertainment budget, guaranteeing a dynamic and diversified program, positioning the casino as a key player in the region's entertainment scene.

  • Strengthened commitment to sustainable development, with renovations incorporating innovative ecological solutions in line with the Group's CSR strategy.
