Record-Breaking Edition for EPT Paris 2024!

The European Poker Tour (EPT) Paris 2024 concluded after 12 days of intense competition, delivering exceptional results that exceeded all expectations. This success sets the stage for a particularly exciting poker season ahead for the Barrière Group.

The EPT Paris saw great success this year

Becoming the 6th largest in history for the Main Event. With a total of 46 tournaments held, the event attracted an impressive crowd of over 20,000 passionate players from around the world, supported by 600 staff members mobilized for the occasion, including 300 dealers managing the 135 open tables.

Clément Martin Saint-Léon, General Manager of Gaming at Barrière Group, expressed his satisfaction: “The success of EPT Paris 2024 is another testament to Barrière’s expertise. This year, we achieved record participation levels, with players coming from all around the world to experience the unique EPT atmosphere. Main Event Highlights:

The Main Event drew 1,749 players from 69 nationalities, recording an all-time high in participation, a growth over the previous edition. A total of 255 finalists were awarded prizes. The prize pool reached €8.3 million. The winner, British poker icon Barny Boatman, achieved the biggest win of his career, and his first seven-figure prize, with €1,287,800. He also became the oldest winner in EPT history after a flawless performance, already deemed legendary in the competition.


France Poker Series (FPS) Highlights:

The 2024 FPS gathered 4,149 players from 77 nationalities, double the number from the previous edition, with a €3.9 million prize pool. This record-breaking FPS was won by Dutch player Mateusz Moolhuizen, just four months before his wedding, which will also take place in France.
